Tip 1. Brush teeth with Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide can clean the mouth and gums, keeping the mouth free of germs. Baking Soda can help remove plaque from teeth. Add a small amount of Hydrogen peroxide to some baking soda to create a fine paste.

The paste should not be gritty, if it is too gritty it can rub the enamel off. Baking soda can be very rough and should be mixed well with the Hydrogen peroxide. Clean your teeth with toothpaste first and then rinse, rub the paste on to your teeth for approximately 30 seconds then rinse off.

Tip 2. Use Coconut Oil. Put a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth and swish it between your teeth for 5 to 10 minutes. You can also add a few drops to your toothbrush and brush it on. Coconut Oil is great for protecting and cleaning your gums as well.

Tip 3. Use Apple Cider Vinegar. ACV works as a natural teeth and gum cleanser. It is especially good at removing stubborn coffee and red wine stains. ACV contains aceatic acid and other compounds such as magnesium, probiotics and enzymes, these can kill bad bacteria.

As with any “acidic” compound, it can also remove enamel. Always rinse well after use and clean your teeth with your regular toothpast afterwards. Rub a little ACT on your teeth for about 1 minute, then rinse.

Tip 4. Lemon Peel. Lemons have lots of health properties, but one virtually unknown one is that lemons can help whiten your teeth. Simply rub the peel of a lemon into your teeth for a minute or so. Rinse your mouth well afterwards and using your regular toothpaste, clean your teeth.

Remember, all acids can remove enamel too, so don’t leave any acidic compound on your teeth for longer than 1 minute..

Tip 5. Strawberries. Now, I know, this sounds a totally “bonkers idea but this is a favourite with “celebrities”. Simply mash up 4 or 5 strawberries rub this mixture on your teeth. Berries contain many beneficial antioxidants and other compounds that can benefit your teeth, however as always, don’t leave the mixture on your teeth too long, and rinse and clean afterwards.

Tip 6. Charcoal. Whaat! you say. Put black charcoal on my teeth?. Dip your toothbrush into some powdered activated charcoal. do this two or three times a week as part of your normal cleaning routine. If you don’t want the messiness of dipping your toothbrush in charcoal, you can buy black toothpaste containing charcoal. This is generally made in Asia in countries such as Japan, but can be purchase in any country online.
