For most people, running a home, running a family and a job too can become all too much. People feel too tired at the end of the day to go out and start exercising in the gym.

Health Tips – How To Keep Healthy 365 Days a Year

Tip 1. I know this sounds crazy, but a lot of how you feel has to do with what you keep telling yourself. Feel good about yourself. You live in your body, is it the body of your dreams?.

If you’re not happy with your body, either change the way you feel about it, or change it. If you are a little overweight, so what?. a lot of people are. If you are very overweight, you might want to cut down on the things making you overweight.

Focus on being healthy inside out. Eat well and exercise when you can.

Recommended daily exercise is 30 minutes a day (here in the UK). If you are not in a physical job, you might want to spend 30 minutes in your dinner hour going for a walk. Or if you have time, when you come in from work.

Health Tips – Stop Comparing Yourself To Others

Tip 2. Some people are born with genetic advantages. However, most people are not. We slow down a lot in later life and our metabolism seems to slow down with us. This tends to mean, we put on weight more easily and it’s always a lot harder to get off. .

When we are in our 20’s we seem to be able to eat anything without putting too much weight on. We seem to have more energy and less affected by late nights, bad eating habits and boozing.

Alas, all that doesn’t last forever.

As we age, our metabolism slows down and we tend to fill up around the face and neck area, and of course the customary “spare tyre” around the waist.

The way to fight against this is to cut down on sugar. Eat less bread, drink more water, and pick up a good food combining guide so you know how to create meals that keep you in shape. (the right shape). .

Health Tips – Make Simple Daily Changes

The way to make anything work over a long period is to actually want to do it. The problem with most diets is they are too extreme in a lot of cases. The figures are not good, most people give up a diet in the first 5 weeks.

Instead of going to the extreme of a complete change all at once. You could try small daily changes at first. For instance, if you are a tea or coffee drinker and you have two teaspoons of sugar in each cup, try cutting this down to one teaspoon a day (or cut it out altogether).

We eat a lot of sugar. Most of the fructose gets metabolised by the liver. There it gets turned into fat and is then it is secreted into the blood. Sugar contains a lot of empty calories, excess calories from any type of food can cause weight gain.

There are all kinds of health tips all over the internet, and many ways to keep healthy. We only get one life, I know we should enjoy it and we still can even if we have to think more about what we eat and do more exercise.

Instead of eating junk food and exercising rarely, turn this around in your mind. Give thoughts of pleasure to exercise and eating healthily. When you get used to feeling fit and healthy, your subconscious mind will kick in and direct you to making yourself even more healthy.

Bad thinking attracts bad things, good thinking attracts good things. Think positive, think healthily and you will attract good health.
